About Deni AI Labs
Deni AI Labs is an AI news site with a memory. The front page carries a short, editor-curated list of the day's important AI stories — and unlike a normal news feed, every story is kept on the books until its promises have been checked.
The front page
Stories come from primary sources only: the labs' own blogs, release notes and research pages. We do not rewrite other outlets' coverage, and the list stays short on purpose. If nothing meaningful shipped, the list is shorter that day. Readers rank the stories with up and down votes, so the front page reflects what readers value, not just what is newest.
The claims market
Every story carries one checkable claim and a check date — the thing the announcement actually promises, and the date by which it should be true. Readers call it: Will deliver or Won't ship. On the check date we verify the claim against the source and stamp the story ✓ Delivered, ✗ Busted or ? Still unproven. Verdicts are permanent. Over time they build a public record for each lab: who ships what they announce, and who doesn't. Calling a claim is free and takes no account — the only stake is being right.
The tools lab
The site began as a small lab of free AI tools, and they are still here: eight tools — background removal, OCR, speech to text, object detection and more — that run open models entirely in your browser. Your files are processed on your own device and never uploaded. They are free because there is no server doing the work.
Who runs this
Deni AI Labs is an independent, one-person publication. Stories are chosen by a human editor; verdicts are the editor's judgement, based on public evidence, and a verdict can be challenged through the contact page — if the evidence says we stamped one wrong, we correct the record and say so.
